Jihočeská agentura pro podporu inovačního podnikání, o.p.s. a Jihočeský kraj pořádaly úvodní konferenci projektu INNOFUN, který by měl přispět k zásadní změně veřejného financování inovací v různých částech Evropské unie. Úvodní konferenci ve dnech 15 – 17. května 2012 navštívili zástupci inovačních agentur a regionálních organizací z devíti států Evropské unie (Finsko, Estonsko, Slovensko, Velká Británie, Belgie, Rakousko, Francie, Španělsko, Kypr).
V zastoupení Jihočeského kraje jsem prezentoval tyto základní teze:
Podporujme rozvoj technologií s vysokou přidanou hodnotou
Pro využití potenciálu výzkumných kapacit je nutné nastavit komunikační kanály.
Podporujme vznik malých, českých firem.
Privátní sektor má svůj zájem, vědci mnohdy neznají praktickou využitelnost svých projektů.
Cílem projektu InnoFun je mj. vytvoření metodiky pro kritické zhodnocení inovativního záměru (kritérium uplatnitelnosti na trhu), které pak bude prezentována na konkrétních příkladech. Možno ji využít při propagaci nápadů, resp. hledání investorů podporujících mladé vědce.

It is extraordinary pleasure for me to welcome you on behalf of the Region of South Bohemia at kick-off meeting of the project InnoFun here in České Budějovice.
It is the first time when any Czech subject became lead partner in the INTERREG IVC project, and we are proud that South Bohemian region is on the board.
The project Innofun has appeared in times of economic problems in many (not only) European countries, in times of general shrinking of public budgets. In this situation, decision-making process on how and where allocate public funds has become extremely important issue. Public support of research, development and innovation has been recognised by the EU (and again not only by the EU) as one of the areas possibly leading economy and society from the economic crisis.
In this sense, it is obvious that selection of R&D and innovation projects with high potential deserve special attention. It is not said that R&D and innovation projects have not been selected effectively so far, but there is still a room for improvement. Project Innofun is able to fulfil this gap, when developing a methodology for supporting such innovation projects which are promising the highest benefits for providers of public R&D funds as well as for the whole society.
Let me repeat the whole project’s name and its main idea: “Funding policies to bring innovation to finance, market, people”. It says all about the project’s orientation, but what is hidden behind, is improvement of communication routines between public funders and innovation project bearers. South Bohemian region is pleased to be in this strong partnership dealing with this challenge, and I believe that project InnoFun has a big chance to become a useful tool for improvement of the project’s evaluation.
I wish to project Innofun many success and realisation without any troubles.
